Mubasher: Maharashtra has put on hold the process of purchasing a land for the biggest oil refinery in India, according to minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Oil companies were planning to build a refinery in the Indian western state with Saudi Aramco, in a project with estimated investments of $44 billion.
The refinery was seen as a game-changer for both parties, according to Reuters.
It could provide India with steady fuel supplies and secure Aramco more regular buyers for its crude oil.
